Humanistic Counselling Services
Terri O' Sullivan
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM OFFERING PHONE AND VIDEO COUNSELLING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
My name is Terri and I am a qualified and fully accredited (MIACP) humanistic integrative counsellor working in Cork. Meeting with a counsellor for the first time may seem like a daunting experience and it can be hard to know what to expect. This website aims to inform you about what I offer as a counsellor to my clients and what you might expect if you decide to come for counselling with me. If you have any further questions please do give me a call, text or email to discuss these.
Is counselling for me?
There are many reasons why people decide that they want, or feel they need, to speak with a counsellor.
Perhaps you are:
Feeling anxious, depressed or experiencing panic attacks
Dealing with difficulties in your personal or professional relationships
Struggling in your relationship with yourself – perhaps feeling shame or self-hatred
Confused about who you really are, your sexual identity or your gender identity
Looking for more from life – perhaps more joy, meaning or connection
Feeling stuck & confused about what you really want from life – personally or professionally
Dealing with difficult life circumstances such as bereavement or long-term illness
Wanting to better understand yourself and why you have come to be the way you are
Just in need of talking to someone in confidence who is not connected with the rest of your life
Whatever the reason you are coming for counselling, big or small, if it is important to you then it is reason enough.
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you."
- Maya Angelou
