Humanistic Counselling Services
Terri O' Sullivan
My name is Terri and I am a qualified and fully accredited (MIACP) humanistic integrative counsellor working in Cork. I also offer remote counselling, on the phone or via video platform. Whether face-to-face or online, meeting with a counsellor for the first time may seem like a daunting experience. However it can help if we know what to expect. I hope the information on this site about counselling with me helps with this. I would be happy to speak with you if you have any questions, you can give me a call, text or email.
Is counselling for me?
There are many reasons why people decide that they want, or feel they need, to speak with a counsellor.
Perhaps you are:
Finding it hard to cope with the impact of Covid-19 on your personal or professional life
Feeling anxious, depressed or experiencing panic attacks
Dealing with difficulties in your personal or professional relationships
Struggling in your relationship with yourself – perhaps feeling shame or self-hatred
Confused about who you really are, your sexual identity or your gender identity
Looking for more from life – perhaps more joy, meaning or connection
Feeling stuck & confused about what you really want from life – personally or professionally
Dealing with difficult life circumstances such as bereavement or long-term illness
Wanting to better understand yourself and why you have come to be the way you are
Just in need of talking to someone in confidence who is not connected with the rest of your life
Whatever the reason you are coming for counselling, big or small, if it is important to you then it is reason enough.
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you."
- Maya Angelou
